GAD, ICPAC and WFP Regional Bureau for East and Central Africa concluded a workshop starting from August 4 to 8 t 2014 by discussing methods and tools for incorporating climate change into food security and livelihoods analysis. The workshop has also looked at how the analysis can inform climate change adaptation programmers. In addition, stakeholders’ information needs has been discussed. The meeting generated a common climate change and food security/livelihoods analytical framework for the IGAD region and look at how best stakeholders’ information needs could be addressed.
