Covid-19 has caused unimaginable devastation and hardship in almost all countries in the global system. In Kenya, by June 2020 most counties had been hit by the pandemic and several measures have been put in place to stop the spread such as cessation of movement. Mandera county has found it hard to curb the spread of corona virus due to poor healthcare systems and the county sharing a long porous border with both Ethiopia and Somalia that makes it difficult for the county to screen and control the movement of people. This newsletter states how BORESHA has come to help prevent spread of the virus in the county by spreading information on how to stop the spread of Covid-19 through radio stations.
