Implementation of Development Responses to Displacement Impacts Project in Somalia

The overall objective of this newsletter is to enhance the capacity of the Federal Government of Somalia and that of regional and local governments to take a lead role in supporting return and (re)integration of Somali refugees and promote durable solutions that tackle forced displacement. It focuses on the 2-year period (2020/2021) implementation plan (consisting of five major intervention areas and related activities) developed by IGAD Regional Secretariat on Forced Displacement and Mixed Migration, in close collaboration with government of Somalia and the World Bank.
