Integrating Conflict Sensitivity in Cross-border Programmes

Lack of a coordinated policy for cross-border peace, security, trade and movement of people has intensified cross border conflict spill overs mainly due to the complex dynamics of the broader Mandera Triangle. Joint coordination and collaboration with respective authorities is key in addressing insecurity particularly in the Mandera Triangle. This paper shows how BORESHA Programme in conjuction with other community partners have enhanced positive interactions with beneficiaries and stakeholders, and enhanced cohesion within the different communities of the Mandera Triangle.
