The purpose of the join project between IGAD, GTZ and Afhad University for Women is to address the varied challenges and opportunities for women in Sudan by targeting women and communities that are the most marginalized and under the greatest strain in post-conflict areas during the interim period. The project aims to strengthen the role of Sudanese women i peace building and development.
