Water Tool: Lake Turkana and its River Basins

This portal was developed by UNEP-DHI as part of the joint project "Support to Sustainable Development in Lake Turkana and its River Basins" between UNEP and the Governments of Ethiopia and Kenya, funded by the European Union Emergency Trust for Africa. The monitoring component consists of the Data Monitor application that allows visualization, analysis and download of data and indicators. The planning component comprises the Root Cause Analysis, Indicators and Planning applications, the latter focusing on the evaluation of scenarios of water resources development, rehabilitation and adaptation measures and climate change.
